The Meritage Restaurant

In May 2000, what started as a dream, became a reality as The Meritage Restaurant opened it's doors on Market Street in the heart of downtown Lancaster. After 6 successful years, the dream was almost cut short, but following some deliberations, a new opportunity presented itself. Move the restaurant... into a picturesque 1755 farmhouse where the infamous Betty Groff housed her family style farm restaurant. A short hiatus ensued for renovations of the dining rooms and kitchen, and in May 2006 The Meritage Restaurant reopened it's doors in our new country location.

The farmhouse offers a variety of settings for small intimate dinners as well as the ability to accommodate larger groups. We invite you to come see what proprietors David and Linda Eshleman with their staff can provide for your evening out, special event or large function in their new location while still maintaining the integrity of crafting everything to order. We offer city food in a truly country location.
